The superiority of wire rope for elevator is mainly reflected in the following aspects:
Strong load-bearing capacity: wire rope is usually braided by multiple strands of fine steel wire, with high tensile strength and flexibility, able to maintain stability in a variety of complex mechanical environments, especially suitable for scenes with high loads and tensile forces. The structure of multi-layer wire rope is more complex, but its carrying capacity is stronger and safer.
Long service life: wire rope is characterized by high strength, abrasion resistance and fatigue resistance, which can prolong the service life of the elevator. Although the wire rope will be worn out due to friction in the process of use, its service life can be effectively extended through regular lubrication and maintenance.
